This website is operated by Grid Guardian Pty Ltd (ABN 16 694 882 703), trading as PerformanceVP ("PerformanceVP", "we", "us", "our"). We are based in Melbourne, Australia, and we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of our consulting work, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

Through this website we collect the information you choose to provide. This is mainly the details you submit through our enquiry or contact forms: your name, email address, phone number, organisation, role, and the content of your message. If you subscribe to updates, we collect your name and email address.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of access. This is standard server and analytics information, used to keep the site secure and to understand how it is used.

In the course of a consulting engagement we collect and process information about client organisations and their people. This can include employee survey responses, workforce and operational data supplied by the client, and information drawn from the client's own systems. Survey responses are collected through unique per-unit links and are treated as confidential. Where we collect this information we do so under a written engagement and on the client's behalf, and we handle it according to the terms of that engagement and this notice.

How We Use Information

We use enquiry information to respond to you, to provide information about our services, and to follow up on a request you have made. We use subscription information to send updates you have asked for, which you can opt out of at any time.

We use technical and analytics information to operate, secure, and improve the website.

We use engagement information solely to deliver the services we have been engaged to perform: to measure organisational performance, produce diagnostic findings and reports, and design and assess interventions for the client. We do not use engagement data for any purpose outside the engagement.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use your information for third-party advertising.

Cookies and Analytics

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to measure usage through analytics. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not function as intended if you do.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We share personal information only where it is necessary to operate our business and deliver our services. This may include trusted service providers such as our website hosting and infrastructure provider, our analytics provider, our email and contact-management tools, and the survey platform used during engagements. These providers act on our instructions and are required to protect the information they handle.

We may also disclose personal information where we are required or authorised to do so by law.

We do not disclose client engagement data to anyone outside the engagement, other than to the client and any party the client directs in writing.

Overseas Disclosure

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. We retain enquiry and contact information for as long as we maintain a business relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. We retain engagement data for the period set out in the relevant client engagement, after which it is returned or securely destroyed in line with that engagement.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS, and access to systems holding personal and client information is restricted to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. You may also ask us to delete information we are not required to keep, and opt out of any updates you have subscribed to. To make a request, contact us using the details below, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can address it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
